Empty nest?

These are the eggs of the Little blue penguin. This photo was taken at a beach just north of Dunedin. The penguins make quite a trek each day to sit on their eggs. They have nest many hundreds of metres into the sand dunes and sometimes 20 - 30 metres up into the cliffs

I really enjoy taking photos and would appreciate your feedback so that I can learn as I go. I particularly enjoy photographing birds animals and landscapes

Your shot conjured my memories of witnessing the laying of Seaturtle eggs in Costa Rica. To me the eggs, their nest ... is almost sacred to witness. Thank you for sharing this with us. Beautiful!
