Shag

This is a nz shag they are ocean birds they live near the sea this one was snapped at aramoana near Dunedin

I really enjoy taking photos and would appreciate your feedback so that I can learn as I go. I particularly enjoy photographing birds animals and landscapes

Bravo J, great "Shag" shot!!! Now I do believe him to be the 'Stewart Island Shag' and as soon as you said you snapped him near Dunedin, I was sure. They are seen from North Otago down to Stewart Island. Did you know we have 7 species of 'Shag' in NZ? Great clear shot J!!!
