hydra colour

I took these inside I was fascinated by the different colours and shades of the hydranges. I tried cropping but then cut out some of the different colours. I took it in a hurry at a friends house and now wish I had taken more shots and put some thought into them. However I thought the colours might appeal to some people

I really enjoy taking photos and would appreciate your feedback so that I can learn as I go. I particularly enjoy photographing birds animals and landscapes

@Zygene: Merci they are mostly grown in wet areas in NZ but I have never seen this range of colours before or again

Ahhh, they certainly appeal to me Deb, I only had the thought yesterday that I should plant some in my garden this Spring, I love these colours and you have displayed them very well (glad you didn't crop out any of the pretty colours) :o)

Love these flowers... they always remind me of my mum... she actually has the original clipping from the house she grew up in of the plant her mum had planted (before she died)

@Calusarus: Thanks so they have lots of colour varieties. Normally in nz you only see white blue and a red colour

The hydranges in my garden are taking a right battering from the wind and rain right at this minute,yours look serene by comparison, lovely shot.

Love that more magenta pink one at the back right corner! Nice shot for a hurried one , they are beautiful hydrangeas just disgraceful in the winter!
