Cook river in flood downstream

looking downstream the day before this had been a picturesque little mountain stream that you could easily have walked across. Due to the infamous west coast rainfall (in some areas 19m per year) this turned into a raging torrent overnight and ruined my dreams of pictures of the beautiful mountain stream

I really enjoy taking photos and would appreciate your feedback so that I can learn as I go. I particularly enjoy photographing birds animals and landscapes
