The Garden GatePosted by jamesy (christchurch, New Zealand) on 20 September 2008 in Architecture. Over the next couple of weeks I thought I would celebrate spring with all of you from CHCH botanical gardens more specially the Daffodil Lawn 1/17 I really enjoy taking photos and would appreciate your feedback so that I can learn as I go. I particularly enjoy photographing birds animals and landscapes

This is a knockout, those blooms look like snow and your compositon is really wonderful, draws your eye straight to the beautiful tree, the light on the gate is wonderful, great work! I think its a cherry blossom. and although you can't quite see it on the photo its actually a pale pink. however i was really pleased with this photo.
