snowdrops and daffodils?

Over the next couple of weeks I thought I would celebrate spring with all of you from CHCH botanical gardens more specially the Daffodil Lawn

This is a view of the Daffodil lawn in the Backgound in the Chch main hospital site. The building on the left is The Chch Womens Hospital which was opened in the last couple of years. This is the site used in Chch and Canterbury for almost all acute hospital patients with a large general hospital on site as well. The building on the right is the old nurses home which I remeber fondly as I lived it in for a year when I began my nursing training many years ago. Now the hospital has no students and the building is used as offices

I really enjoy taking photos and would appreciate your feedback so that I can learn as I go. I particularly enjoy photographing birds animals and landscapes

Nice composition - like the urban background with the flowers in the foreground. I keep forgetting that it is your spring so I get a nice surprise every time I look at one of your photos. It'll be a long time before we see daffodils around here again.

@Graham Russon: So it was It has been like summer here in CHCH for the last 2 days yesterday was so hot 19C at 11pm but today back to a dose of reality only 11C outside this am Thanks for the kind comments

I love the daffodil lawns at the gardens. When I was a kid we made several class trips here, and sat amongst the flowers just as you did to take this shot. Its wonderful! Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
