Hey Hey Hey its Caturday!!!!!!

Welcome all to Caturday a long time in the waiting
Well I have shown you my witchy woman or tortie tart as she is sometimes known. This is SOOTY (yes he can't believe what an original name he has) I hounded him for a whole morning to get a good photo and I think this one show his personality best. He is a big loveable lump who likes to be in the bathroom while people are showering so he can dry their toes with his gritty tongue. When he is superbly happy and purring loudly he dribbles everywhere. The uniniated can get quite wet if he then decides to shake his head. So sooty says MAIOW!!!!! to all his Am3 friends today and every day.
I really enjoy taking photos and would appreciate your feedback so that I can learn as I go. I particularly enjoy photographing birds animals and landscapes

hehehe a toe drier! the vet told me that cats only dribble when they are extremely happy, which means you and i have very happy cats! A fabulous shot D.

wonderful capture of him, the way he is resting and looking at you captures so much of what you wrote about him,
As for original names when I was young and we got a cat, which by he way looked quite similar to Sooty I was asked t name him, my first choice was rejected "dog" I wonder why rest of family rejected that, so then i suggested Rover, which was also rejected and the family decided on Fluffy which is in my mind not an original name at all. Guess i have always like to be different

a great shot of Sooty! it can be quite a challenge to capture the detail in a black cat, and you have got the exposure exactly right. I love the way his whiskers are lit up.
