At the dog park

In Christchurch we are lucky to have set aside areas where dogs can roam and play at will. The biggest of all is at the Groynes on the outskirts of Chch this is one of the two rivers that the dogs can play in
I really enjoy taking photos and would appreciate your feedback so that I can learn as I go. I particularly enjoy photographing birds animals and landscapes

Jamesy - this is a nice image. Since you ask for feedback, I hope you don't mind if I make a suggestion. The tree in the front left is too light. If you can make it darker, the the eye would move up stream and pull you into the image. The eyes tend to go to the light area of an image, so you dont want a big, light area in the front. Nice shot, a very tranquil scene. Something is off with this shot and I think in part what Jeffster says about the light is right. Also it looks to sharp,maybe adding some shadows/contrast and a slight subtle blur.

wonderful capture, this is what I miss from back home its so easy to get out of the city and find beautiful spots like this, and that the citys are a lot less chaotic than the big apple
