Pelorus family, friends and fun

Posted by jamesy (christchurch, New Zealand) on 27 October 2008 in Landscape & Rural.

Am going to be away for the next week so haveposted photos for this time but will not have access to a computer so won't be able to look at your posts will try to catch up when I get back from Dunedin. To the Scottish ladies that is the "Edinburgh of the south" or so some call it. I have posted a photo for DJs challenge on the 29 If either he or Kylie can link it to his site I would be grateful I am sorry to be missing this but am still thinking hard for Kylies challenge of my favourite place. Have fun and be good while I am away.

This was taken last year at Pelorus bridge which is on the road between Nelson and Blenheim. It is a major tourist stop but only has a camping ground. Most people stop to picnic here and go for a swim in the cool, deep, clear water. We drove here for the afternoon from Duncan Bay and the kids had a ball. The child diving into the water is my eldest son Matthew

I really enjoy taking photos and would appreciate your feedback so that I can learn as I go. I particularly enjoy photographing birds animals and landscapes
