Up close with Manuka

Am going to be away for the next week so haveposted photos for this time but will not have access to a computer so won't be able to look at your posts will try to catch up when I get back from Dunedin. To the Scottish ladies that is the "Edinburgh of the south" or so some call it. I have posted a photo for DJs challenge on the 29 If either he or Kylie can link it to his site I would be grateful I am sorry to be missing this but am still thinking hard for Kylies challenge of my favourite place. Have fun and be good while I am away.
this is the flower of the Manuka or Kanuka tree. The two are so alike that only an expert can really tell them apart. Over the next few days I will show you some birds that I photographed in these trees

I really enjoy taking photos and would appreciate your feedback so that I can learn as I go. I particularly enjoy photographing birds animals and landscapes
