Bicycle BridgePosted by jamesy (christchurch, New Zealand) on 23 November 2008 in Landscape & Rural. This bridge is part of the Railway Trail. It was originally an old railway between Chch and Little River but hasn't been used for many years. It has recently been turned into a cycle way which stretches between Motukara and Little River. it is a very popular cycle way especially with families I really enjoy taking photos and would appreciate your feedback so that I can learn as I go. I particularly enjoy photographing birds animals and landscapes

Linerberry from Sumner, Christchurch, New ZealandWell, jamesy I didn't know that! I was standing there for how long the other week and I never knew! Plenty of room ( or space ??) and nature near you. 23 Nov 2008 7:55am MaryP from Aberdeenshire, United KingdomThat's one great place to take the family cycling. Beautiful view and lots of fresh air. 23 Nov 2008 9:43am Calusarus from St Sorlin en Valloire, FranceI like the composition : light on the left side, and the bridge on the right… 23 Nov 2008 11:36am GJC from Kyoto, JapanI like the sense of expansiveness created by the pathway and the bright light into which we're moving. 23 Nov 2008 12:28pm Laurie from New Jersey, United StatesThis is beautiful. They have done the same in a few places here, turning old railway runs into bike/hike paths. 23 Nov 2008 2:04pm Jeffster from Long Island, United StatesBeautiful view. I like the recycling concept. 23 Nov 2008 2:18pm Les from Lincoln, United StatesOur bike paths aren't quite as scenic, unless you enjoy riding through farmland. But in the league the Aussies were right in the kiwi faces which didn't seem to cause any problems, so if thats what the welsh did then I don't think it would be a problem JJ from Jersey City, United Statessuch a beautiful place to ride, I would get back into cycling if I was there, must be so peaceful riding aong with the beautiful scenery and hearing the waves rolling in So frustrating the All Blacks are doing so well and they dont show the games on Cable here :( 23 Nov 2008 3:36pm Maxine from Rangiora, New ZealandWell done Deb! the bridge balances the brighter light and grounds the image. 23 Nov 2008 4:38pm Bookfool from Vicksburg, United StatesWow, envy.
