Hello all and HAPPY NEW YEAR its good to be home. I am now going to bore you all for the next long while with photos from my Christmas Holidays. Today has been extremely hot at around 38C
With the car all packed and ready to go Sooty decided he would like to come as well Unfortunately he wasn't allowed so had to be ejected before we started.

About to get started on Where in the world is "Kaha Kiwi". I will post a photo of Kaha in the next couple of days and we will get started.
Kaha is a Maori word meaning strong and kiwi is our national bird which is endangered. If it is to survive the kiwi will have to be strong. Like many of NZs native birds it is flightless and nocturnal and therefore easy prey for introduced predators eg stoats, rats and weasels

I really enjoy taking photos and would appreciate your feedback so that I can learn as I go. I particularly enjoy photographing birds animals and landscapes
