Lake Pukaki and Mt Cook

Having arrived at our destination and unpacked, I made my hubbie drive another 10 mins up the road to lake pukaki so that I could get a photo of the eastern side of Mt cook so that I would have both sides of Mt cook on photo in one day
I really enjoy taking photos and would appreciate your feedback so that I can learn as I go. I particularly enjoy photographing birds animals and landscapes

Wonderful!!! I love Lake Pukaki!! This is a really great shot, such a clear day too!

The huge rock in the foreground somehow mimics Mt Cook. Fantastic scenery.

@Observing: You know I hadn't noticed the rock thing. I just take photos and am not particularly thoughtful about composing them so It just happened I must put a bit more thought into my composition

You will need to go to my Flickr site... I have tons of old slides on there from the 1970's of Mt Cook etc... I had changed them over to digital...
