Late?

driving home from my Heron expedition I came to a screeching holt down one of the canals out to the estuary as I spied a set of late cygnets. I must have watched them and photographed them for about and hour. At first the parents came charging up to me to scare me off but as the got used to me they just went about their daily business. I was interested to see both parents go upside down and pull up weed to lay it on the surface of the water for the babies to eat. Its amazing what you see when you are out there with a camera.
I really enjoy taking photos and would appreciate your feedback so that I can learn as I go. I particularly enjoy photographing birds animals and landscapes

Fantastic shot - I love it! The contrast of the black swan wiht its orange beak against the deep blue water is so pleasing to the eyes... the sweet wee ducks only add to the photo's charm! Really well done.

WOW mate this is an absolute beauty of a shot!!!! I love the drops of water off the Mums beak:-) This little fluffy things are just so adorable! The water looks crisp and clear! Bravo on a fantastic capture!!!

Well spotted. And a well deserved lovely shot of the little ducklings with their parent. The water colour is a really deep blue here and adds to the contrast. Great shot!

A shot well worth putting the nose against the windshield for(an abrupt stop). You are right. It is amazing what we can find, and see if we want to look. Excellent capture Debbie.

Absolutely wonderful - The water color is spectacular, the cygnets mostly headed in the same directlion and the water droplets from the parent's beak for some additional action, contrast in color between the parent and cygnets - all perfect! 5 stars from me !

These cygnets really are late in the season . . swans here in the north are already nest-building ! Certainly is a very sweet family group under that blue sky.
