these flowers grow wild up the side of the waterraces. they made a beautiful sight

I really enjoy taking photos and would appreciate your feedback so that I can learn as I go. I particularly enjoy photographing birds animals and landscapes

They look superb, Debs. Massed together I would imagine the display to be phenomenal. One thing to try when taking flowers, is to underexpose the shot - sometimes by as much as a full stop - I think you will be surprised at the difference in the end result as by doing so, as it seems to bring out extra detail in the leaves and petals.

@dobbino: thanks for that I was wondering what you might say about this shot there is something about which is not right I think it is too soft in the flower department. So will try what you say I normally leave this on automatic
